SHS-CHU2120 Ultra-Repair Putty – 177mm x 22mm x 22mm (2kg)
High-Performance Industrial Epoxy Putty for Emergency Repairs & Maintenance
Overview
The CHU2120 Ultra-Repair Putty is a high-performance, two-part epoxy putty designed for rapid emergency repairs and general maintenance in industrial environments. Supplied in a convenient stick format measuring 177mm in length, 22mm in width, and 22mm in height, this 2kg putty can be hand-mixed and applied to vertical, overhead, and horizontal surfaces without sagging or dripping.
Once cured, the putty transforms into a steel-grey, machinable material with exceptional mechanical properties – including 85 Shore D hardness, 55,160 kPa compressive strength, and 41,370 kPa tensile strength. It can withstand intermittent temperatures up to 149°C and continuous service temperatures of 121°C, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial repair applications. Ideal for emergency repairs to pipes, tanks, valves, machinery, and equipment where downtime must be minimised.
Key Features & Benefits
Exceptional Strength
Ultra-high compressive strength of 55,160 kPa and tensile strength of 41,370 kPa – comparable to steel for durable, long-lasting repairs.
Rapid Emergency Repairs
Hand-mixable putty format allows for immediate application – no specialised tools required. Perfect for minimising downtime.
Versatile Application
Can be applied to vertical, overhead, and horizontal surfaces without sagging or dripping.
High Temperature Resistance
Withstands intermittent temperatures up to 149°C and continuous service temperatures of 121°C.
Excellent Shear Strength
Shear strength of 4,830 kPa ensures reliable performance under stress and load.
Machinable After Cure
Once cured, the putty can be drilled, tapped, filed, sanded, and machined like metal.
Simple 1:1 Mix Ratio
Easy hand-kneading of the two-part putty stick ensures correct mixing every time.
Long Shelf Life
Several years shelf life when stored in original tube with cap on – always ready for emergency use.
Corrosion Resistant
Cured putty resists many chemicals, oils, and solvents (check compatibility for specific applications).
