SHS-CHMSK01 – 240L Oil & Fuel Marine Spill Kit
Specialised Floating Spill Response Kit for Marinas, Ports & Water-Based Applications
Overview
The SpilMax® Oil & Fuel Marine Spill Kit is a specialised 240-litre spill response solution designed for rapid deployment on water. Housed in a durable yellow HDPE wheelie bin, this kit is ideal for marinas, ports, barges, foreshore works, and boat storage areas where hydrocarbon spills may occur on water surfaces.
The kit contains hydrophobic, oleophilic absorbents that repel water and float, even when saturated, making them highly effective for capturing hydrocarbons, plant oils, seed oils, and petroleum-based solvents on water. Floating booms in mesh sleeves feature snap hooks and rope for easy joining and retrieval, enabling rapid containment of spills in marine environments. Clear instructions printed on the outside of the bin ensure quick reference during emergencies.
