Overview
The CHSC111 Floating Containment System is a pre-connected 20-metre length solution designed for low-risk water bodies such as lagoons, ponds, and streams where there is little to no tidal, wave, or wind forces. Unlike unconnected versions, this system comes with sections already joined, saving installation time and ensuring consistent connection integrity from the outset.
The system combines a 100mm x 50mm closed-cell foam float with a 1-metre deep 260gsm non-woven geotextile skirt, providing effective containment and sedimentation control in calm water environments. Constructed with 400gsm yellow PVC (matte top side, gloss back side) for the float chamber and marine-grade components throughout, this system offers reliable performance for applications requiring floating barriers, sediment curtains, or debris containment. The 6mm marine-grade galvanised chain ballast ensures stable deployment, with ASTM F962 Z-connectors available at the ends for further extension if required.
